Want to Know What the Spiritual Meaning is Behind Wolves
(Understanding the sacred wolf and what it could mean in your subconscious)
In fairy tales, nightmares and horror flicks, wolves are a common occurrence. Visions of clouds float across a full moon. A nearby howl calls out of the woods.
Glowing eyes slowly peer from between trees. Then you see a pack of 4 legged monsters with saliva drizzled fangs growling towards you.
Even in Thriller, Michael Jackson turned into one and dances the woman into a frenzy of fear.
But there is so much more to the ancient symbolism of the wolf.
Many indigenous cultures from America to Asia depict wolves as creatures that signify something more spiritual than just destruction.
They are associated with the moon which represents deep emotions and unbridled fright.
In dreams the fear associated with wolves could indicate an untrustworthy figure or an unchecked subconscious fear lurking in one’s life or mind.
Old world fables paint wolves as sinister creatures, preying on the unassuming and gullible.
The wolf dressed in sheep’s clothing or in a grandmother’s gown is waiting for the right opportunity to devour their prey.
