Every loss doesn’t mean every THING is lost
(Finding a little optimism in the 5 of swords Tarot card)
Think about one of your lowest moments. Remember the pain, the fear or even the humiliation you might have felt. It could have been heartbreak, or a death or some of sort of public embarrassment.
I know. It felt awful. I’ve been there.
Maybe it still feels awful. In the moment, you may not have known what to do or which way to turn. But guess what?
You made out okay. Money may have been lost. Expectations might have been broken. People may have disappointed you.
But you’re still alive. If you’re reading this article, you still have some mental capacity to comprehend.
And unless you’ve been given a count down to cross over to the after world, you still have the opportunity to make a new decision, to start a new journey.
Moreover, think about what that situation taught you. You now know more than you did and you have a new, practical perspective to work with if something similar comes up again in the future.
On the 5 of swords card, a man is watching two men walk alway, sulking, heading towards the waters of their defeated emotions. They left their swords, their mental weapons, thoughts, ideas, and focus about the matter on the beach.
