I mean, the people Kevin attack and judge black women for years. Now they’re mad? I can’t wait until us as black people refuse to allow that kind of disrespect towards us. His popularity was based on some (Thank God not all) black men who have internal issues with black women and take joy in hearing someone demean. Kevin Samuels recorded a Hispanic woman at a department store counter (who had never met) and told black women how much more superior she was to us. Watched it with my own eyes.

I would never wish death on anyone. I also feel awful that his loved ones have lost him. But he contributed dissension between black men and women. He was to a certain group of black men what Trump was to extremist conservatives, shock value and disdain towards another group. I know it’s triggering. But facts are facts. I always question any “influencer” who’s platform is built on the mistrust, anger, rage, and disrespect of another group, particularly when black women aren’t separate from black men. We are a unit, whether you like it or not. Would any of you allow him to say what he did to your mothers? Answer that question with a yes or no.
