(Discover feminine maturity using the queen cards in Tarot)

I love the queen cards in the Tarot deck. When I pull them in my own readings I always feel encouraged and empowered.

For me, these cards represent grown woman-ness in the 4 areas (4 elements) of our existence. The thrones that they sit on and the crowns that adorn the, symbolize a leadership that comes from experience and wisdom.

The queens are constant reminders for me to either put on my big girl pants to get my shit together or to be thankful for any growth that I’ve accomplished.

These queens remind me of the women in my life that embody feminine maturity, optimism, resourcefulness, and emotional wisdom. And these qualities are usually cultivated in the toughest times of our lives.

Tough times give way to the “seasoning” that is the mark of maturity. And it’s why, even in struggle, I always try to give thanks for the “season” I’m in and the goddess-ness that is being cultivated in me because of it.

Queen of Swords

With a sword in her left hand and her right hand held out as if making a declaration, the queen of swords represents mental maturity and intelligence. She has developed the habit of rational thinking and positive self talk.
