The Justice card in Tarot depicts a woman, serious and regal sitting on what appears to be a throne. She is wearing a crown that represents leadership over a kingdom and the matters therein. She is wearing a red, stately gown with a cape. Red is often associated with fire, action, power and energy.
In one hand she holds a sword that symbolizes the mind and definitive decisions. In the other, she’s holding the scales of justice, balanced. She sits between two concrete pillars as if in a court. Concrete is strong, hard to destroy, and symbolically means power. Stability, foundation, and firmness are other words that come to mind.
The card comes along with the number 11. 1’s are like new beginnings, divine oneness and single mindedness. Two ones, like the two pillars, are likened to two single minded options or situations in need of balance. But when you add 1 to 1 which equals two, it often signifies a relationship between 2 people or two entities, whether personal or business.
On a personal level, the justice card could represent the need to balance two personalities, conflicting values, or just getting to the truth of a matter. There could be secrets to be exposed or the need to make sense of warring intentions. But, it…
