MLK asked that we not be judged by the color of our skin, not that the color of our skin be ignored. The point is that saying one doesn’t see color is inauthentic, when they clearly see it.

I don’t have a problem with any culture loving themselves. If a white person loves being white, I would consider that a good thing.

You’re right I could have provided more statistics. If I ever write an addendum to this article, I will keep that in mind.
