The MOST profound things I’ve learned on my journey of awakening… at least so far
(It’s a must read. I promise)
One thing that I have learned in all my 42 years on this planet is that who I am, what I am, the knowledge of self, is the most important work I can do. I don’t take my struggles and hardships, and they have been many, for granted. My dramas forced me to go inward and question my existence. The healing I do strengthens my ability to do good in the world.
That questioning of existence led me to some answers, some insights. And they are the kinds of insights that spiritual awakening is made of.
The truths that were revealed to me through study became concepts that I have meditated on in great deal. And when I need some strength to pull through tough times, or even just a funky mood, I rely on these truths.
There are just a few, but I think that they are immensely powerful.
You are not your body.
This sounds very cliche. You’ve probably heard it a million times in self help videos and esoteric teachings. But if you think a little more deeply about it, you’ll realize how impactful this realization is.
It’s our body that is the basis of our ego. Because our bodies seem not to be connected to everyone or everything…
