Your “Stuff” is Spiritual
(The connection between your spiritual development and the “stuff in your spaces”)
As a person who spends a lot of time focused on spiritual development, sometimes I procrastinate on an area of spirituality that I just don’t “feel like” tackling. “My stuff”.
Since I’m back in school working on a masters program, building up a platform as a copywriter, doing Tarot readings for clients, writing with a team of creatives, being a mom of teenage athlete, teaching an online Tarot course, and trying to loosen up this ache in my lower back (thats a whole job right there)… well I’m kind of overwhelmed.
Yes, it is a good overwhelm, like I’m doing the things I really enjoy and know will move me forward. But cleaning my room (reeeeeally cleaning my room), focusing on organizing my finances, and throwing out junk that I no longer need… those were things I just have not felt like doing.
I kept clutter
I’ve kept a pile of mail, notes, notebooks, and ads for things I really want to spend time considering next to my comfy, cushy chair. That pile was just getting bigger and bigger until yesterday, I just decided to stop running from this stuff, “my stuff”. I had clothes I wasn’t excited about piling in a chair by the wall.
